These terms govern your use of this website. Any engagement we take on with you is covered by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

1. Who these terms are with

This website is operated by a2rtech, based in Texas, USA. "We", "us" and "a2rtech" in these terms mean that business. By using this website you accept these terms.

2. Information on this site is general

Everything published here, including our guides, service descriptions and delivery framework, is general information about how we work and how we think about this field. It isn't advice on your particular situation, and it isn't legal, accounting, financial or tax advice.

Don't act on anything here without considering whether it fits your circumstances. If you'd like an assessment of your own process, request a consultation.

3. The site is provided as is

We aim to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment.

4. Inquiries don't create an engagement

Emailing us or holding a consultation with us doesn't create a contract for services, and doesn't oblige either of us to go further. An engagement begins only when both parties sign a written agreement covering scope, price and success criteria.

The consultation is free and carries no obligation. Anything we observe during it is preliminary, based on a short conversation, and should be treated as a starting point.

5. What you send us

We treat what you tell us about your business as confidential and use it only to answer your inquiry. Please don't email us passwords, Social Security numbers, tax returns or other sensitive records before an engagement is agreed. If we work together, confidentiality and data handling are covered in the written agreement.

6. Intellectual property

The content, design and code of this site belong to a2rtech unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share it for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish it, sell it or present it as your own.

Ownership of work produced during an engagement is set out in the agreement for that engagement.

7. Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so because we think it's useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on information published on it, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. If we are found liable despite this, our total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with the date shown at the top of the page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
